2017 MAEOE Conference
Investigate & Create: The Science & Art of Environmental Education
February 2-5, 2017 at the Sheraton in Towson, Maryland in Partnership with Goucher College
Join us for the 32nd annual MAEOE conference in Towson, Maryland. Every year, MAEOE strives to have a memorable conference and we think that this year’s conference will be tremendous!
Greg Mort will be speaking and hosting a juried art show. A largely-self-taught as an artist, Greg Mort is considered one of America’s foremost contemporary painters and a preeminent influence on art in the twenty first century. His unmistakably modern creations have the classic feel of the Dutch Masters but are juxtaposed with startlingly modern designs. For more information on Greg Mort: gregmortcollection.com .
Announcing Stacy Levy as Saturday, Lunchtime Keynote speaker: Stacy Levy’s art shows the presence of urban nature and clarify the patterns of natural processes at work on the site. She works with water of all sorts: from acid mine drainage to urban streams and rivers to rainwater. Many of her recent projects utilize storm water runoff, to make rainwater an asset to the site.
