The annual Maryland Green Schools Youth Summit is held at Sandy Point State Park in Annapolis, MD, and celebrates both newly awarded and returning Green Schools and Centers. Whether or not your school is being recognized this year, all are invited to participate in the in-person Youth Summit, featuring award ceremonies, youth leadership activities, a green career fair, and an environmental literacy fair. This event offers hands-on learning, opportunities for connection, and a chance to explore and celebrate environmental education.
Every school in Maryland is invited for a nominal fee of $2 per student, chaperone, and teacher. Groups are limited to a maximum of 40 people so that we can accommodate as many schools as possible within the park's capacity for 2,000 people.
