Together we will fulfill the MAEOE mission. Your generous donations increase the number of essential programs available to educators and the environmental education community. As dedicated professionals you seamlessly integrate environmental education into curricula, furthering Maryland’s environmental literacy goals.

With over 200,000 students actively engaged in the Maryland Green Schools initiative, it’s worth noting that 35% of Maryland’s schools have already earned the Maryland Green Schools award. However, together we can increase this percentage to 50% by 2028.

Maryland boasts over 2000 public and independent schools, serving 1 million Pre-K – 12th grade students. These educational communities represent a significant opportunity for us to promote and enhance environmental sustainability.

As a member of the MAEOE network, you are part of a community that values the outdoors and inspires others to see, learn, experience, and improve Maryland’s environment.
