Advocating for Environmental and Outdoor Education Policy
MAEOE actively collaborates with various organizations across Maryland, fostering a commitment to high-quality environmental education that emphasizes location-based learning and drives academic excellence. This form of education brings students and communities together to address local environmental challenges and develop homegrown solutions.
At the heart of MAEOE's mission is advocating for policies and forming strategic partnerships that promote the value of environmental education.
Environmental and outdoor education programs are designed to align with Maryland’s rigorous environmental literacy standards and ultimately foster a generation of students who are informed and responsible stewards of the environment.
