The Maryland Green Schools Act of 2019 Becomes a Law July 1, 2019
Thank you for your support of the Maryland Green Schools Act of 2019. This Bill has been established to increase the number of green schools in the State to 50% with funding beginning July 1, 2020 to support Professional Development, Transportation related to access to nature, and Green Schools programs at schools. Over the next year MAEOE staff, board members, and advisory council members will work with the Green Schools Committee and other partners to develop strategy as outlined in the Bill.
