What is MAEOE Virtual Conference?
The 2021 Maryland Association for Environmental and Outdoor Education Conference is virtual! The event brings educators, resource personnel, scientists, and researchers together to share experiences and ideas and expand knowledge! There are 1/2 day and full day workshops on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, shorter/multiple sessions on Saturday. Join Dr. John Francis, our keynote speaker on Saturday. Other highlights include The Drawdown panel, Global Sustainable Schools panel, community meetings, Tom Horton's film High Tides in Dorchester with Q&A with Tom Horton, time for networking and visiting virtual exhibits and so much more!
Do I have to be a member of MAEOE to attend the conference?
No, MAEOE members receive discounts on conference fees, but you do not have to be a MAEOE member to attend. Click here for full details on the benefits of joining MAEOE.
How do I register to become a member or renew my membership?
For the 2021 Conference you must purchase or renew your membership prior to registering for the conference. This year you cannot purchase membership as part of the registration. If you need to purchase a membership please go here. If you are unsure whether you are a member please email email@example.com (your email will be responded to in the next business day).
When is the MAEOE conference?
The 2021 MAEOE Conference will be held virtually, February 3rd - 7th.
If you cancel by January 5, you will receive a full refund less a $50 fee; by January 20, you will receive a 50% refund. Sorry, no refunds after January 20.

Your friends and colleagues are welcome to attend if they register for the conference.
What happens in the event of inclement weather?
This is not a problem in 2021! The conference is virtual.
