MAEOE encourages, engages and empowers the community to understand, responsibly use, and promote the natural world.
Celebrating Black History Month This February, we honor the incredible contributions of Black leaders, scientists, educators, and environmental advocates who have shaped history and continue to inspire future generations. At MAEOE, we recognize the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion in environmental education. Black environmentalists, conservationists, and changemakers have played a vital role in sustainability and outdoor education, ensuring that communities have access to nature and the tools to protect it.Join us in celebrating Black History Month by learning, sharing, and amplifying the voices of Black leaders in the environmental movement. Together, we create a future where everyone has a seat at the table.
We're Excited to announce DJ Gomes & Edgemere Rock Band will be with us during the MAEOE Conference this week! We don't mean to brag, but this may be our coolest conference, by far! While you're here, take a look at a few of Thursday's sessions! You can still register: buff.ly/3ZzWCQ6
