Sunny Days for A Greener Tomorrow: Summer FUNdraising Campaign

Throughout the month of August until September 6th, MAEOE is running a summer fundraising campaign to raise funds to continue environmental education programming in Maryland. As they celebrate 40 years as an organization and 25 years of their Green Schools, each week is filled with fun filled activities partners can participate and engage in on their social media pages. As an extra show of appreciation, donors will be entered into a raffle weekly to end prizes!

August 6th children’s author Nancy Johnson James read her book Brown: The Many Shades of Love and engaged in an interview with MAEOE’s Associate Director Mary Westlund. It is MAEOE’s goal to show forth the opportunities provided with the partnership we offer. Since earth is our home, we must learn to care for it and responsibly teach the upcoming generation.
