MAEOE’s focus is Youth Leadership skills, practices and competencies- with an eye to the future.
How We Do It:
Through the MD Green Schools Program, MAEOE offers opportunities for Student Action and Green Team engagement.
Through the MAEOE Youth Leadership Collaborative, we offer an opportunity for deeper personal growth through an environmental lens, a cohort of like minded peers, and strengthening youth voice and vision in Maryland.
Through an Annual MAEOE Scholarship available to High School Seniors in Spring each year.

Through the Jobs Board, MAEOE offers real-world work and volunteer opportunities offered by our partners.
A new initiative, the MAEOE Youth Leadership Collaborative focuses on building a community of practice among high school students from across the state with the common goal of increasing Youth Voice and Vision in MAEOE’s work.
