MAY/JUNE 2022 MAEOE NEWSLETTER
Updates and information on the Maryland Green Schools Program, MAEOE events and much more!
We’d like to open this newsletter by congratulating all the 2022 New, Recertifying, Sustainable, and Sustainable Bronze Green Schools and Centers. Each Green School and Center is part of a national and international community working to create a more sustainable future. Check out the list of Green Schools and Green Centers. Schools and Center will be celebrated at two different events in May.
We will be opening our new Green Schools Application Online Portal in June and will be hosting Info Sessions so you can start using this portal when you are ready. This portal will be open to all schools in Maryland and will be the only way applications will be submitted beginning in the 2022-2023 school year.
Keep scrolling through this newsletter to get more information on the Youth Summit, summer professional development opportunities, and highlights for May events.
Make sure you are connected with us! Different events and opportunities hosted by MAEOE and other organizations across Maryland are announced on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and through email.
Your participation in events and/or membership in MAEOE helps us to support you and your work more effectively.
