Environmental Education for the Future!!
2024 Youth Summit - Thursday, May 30, 2024 at Sandy Point State Park (9:00 AM - 1:00 PM)
Join MAEOE for the annual Youth Summit. This is a great opportunity for students and teachers to discover local environmental programs and resource providers.
We will celebrate new and recertifying Green Schools and Green Centers. Whether or not you are receiving an award, attendees participate at the in-person youth summit that includes award ceremonies, youth leadership activities, a green career fair, and an environmental literacy fair. Hands-on learning, sharing information, expanding knowledge, and connecting with nature.
Every school in Maryland is invited for a nominal fee of $2 per student, chaperone, and teacher. For groups of over 100 people, please contact greenschools@maeoe.org. The park's capacity is for 3,000 people and we want as many schools to attend as possible.
