November 6th - Monthly Green Leader Meeting: If you are a Green Leader or interested in becoming a Green Leader, register here for our upcoming meetings. You can choose to attend as many as you like. Green Leader meetings are held from 3:30-4:30 PM on 11/6, 12/4, 1/8, 2/5, 3/4, 4/8, and 5/6.
November 9th- An opportunity to get your questions answered about the Green School and Center application process from 3:30-5:00 PM. Additional office hours on 12/13, 1/9, and 1/16. REGISTER TODAY!
December 2nd- Project Learning Tree (PLT) Facilitator Training: Delmarva Discovery Center, Pocomoke City, MD from 9:30 AM - 1:30 PM. This training is for new and experienced facilitators. Reconnect with the Maryland PLT Facilitator network, explore new resources, and get information on funding to host a PLT workshop. REGISTER TODAY!
December 13, 2023 - May 8, 2024 - Professional Development for Educators: Addressing Environmental Justice in Local Communities. Space is limited to 30. $125 stipend, up to $500 for a student action project, and 1 MSDE credit (pending). REGISTER TODAY!
January 6, 13 & 20, 2024- Earn your Environmental Educator Certificate in 3 weeks of virtual sessions (9:00 AM- 4:00 PM).
January 11th- Green Career Event at Deer Creek Overlook, Harford County. This event creates an opportunity for high school students to meet professionals in green career fields. If you are a professional interested in participating in this event, click on this link to let us know. This will be the first of three events MAEOE is hosting in the state this school year.
