Facilitator Roles and Responsibilities
To stay current as a Maryland PLT facilitator, you are expected to:
- Plan and conduct or assist with a minimum of one educator workshop each year.
- Attend the bi-monthly facilitator meetings AND/OR watch the bi-monthly webinars focused on specific PLT resources. Complete a short survey after attending.
- Promote Maryland PLT workshops to educators throughout your region.
MAEOE encourages facilitators to team up with other facilitators and resource specialists when providing training.
Planning a Workshop
When planning a workshop, please submit your agenda and book orders to the Maryland State Coordinator, Mary Westlund at greenschools@maeoe.org at least two weeks prior to the workshop.
After the Workshop
Following each workshop, facilitators should:
- Organize the participant evaluations and information forms
- Complete and include a workshop cover sheet and the final agenda
- Email these forms to greenschools@maeoe.org.
